1. The Service is a tool, not a seller

PCSmithy generates suggested PC part lists. We do not sell, ship, or stock any product: we are only a tool. Every purchase, payment, delivery, warranty, return, and after-sales question is handled entirely by the third-party merchant (Amazon, Newegg, and others) where you complete the sale. We are not a party to that transaction.

2. Compatibility disclaimer

Generated builds are algorithmic suggestions. We do not guarantee that the recommended parts are compatible, that they physically fit, or that the build will function. You are responsible for verifying compatibility and specifications before purchasing.

3. AI-generated content

Builds are produced by a third-party large language model and may contain errors or hallucinations. Treat all output as a starting point and verify it independently.

4. Estimated prices

Estimated pricesshown on the Service are estimates or last-known values and are not binding. The actual price may differ at the merchant; always check the final price on the merchant’s site before buying.

5. Estimated technical figures

Power-supply sizing, performance tiers, and TDP/wattage figures are estimates. Real-world results vary. We do not guarantee that a recommended power supply is sufficient or that a build reaches any particular benchmark.

6. Availability

We do not guarantee that any recommended part is in stock, still sold, or that a merchant link remains valid. Products may be discontinued at any time.

7. Trademarks

Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, and all other product and brand names are trademarks of their respective owners. PCSmithy is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

8. Your input

Prompts you submit are processed by a third-party large language model (DeepSeek). Do not submit personal or sensitive information. Builds you choose to save and share are public to anyone with the link; do not include anything private.

9. As is; no warranty

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to zero dollars (US$0), reflecting that the Service is provided free of charge.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify PCSmithy against claims arising from your misuse of the Service.

12. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

13. Changes

We may modify or discontinue the Service, and update these Terms, at any time.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
